Good afternoon Rotarians!
I hope that you all had a great week! There is much to update you on today.

This also the Hall of Fame weekend, and lots of your favorite Phillies will be in attendance. If you want tickets make your purchase now! Remember to bring canned goods to the game so we can donate the food to feed the hunger.

Tri County Rotary Club Charter Celebration
Mark your calendar for the Tri-County Rotary Club's Charter Celebration on Tuesday, September 19th at Merighi's Savoy Inn in East Vineland. The theme for the celebration is "Reaching for the Stars" and sounds very exciting. I look forward to seeing you there to support the Tri-County Rotary Club at their Charter Celebration.
30 Years of Women in Rotary
This is the 30th year of women in Rotary. To commemorate this historic milestone, we are having a joint celebration with District 7450 on Tuesday, November 7th at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield Pa. We will honor five women from our district who best represent the values and spirit of Rotary. The nominating forms will be sent out shortly to all clubs. So, if you know someone that we should recognize, please submit their name to us. There will be lots of opportunities to support this event through sponsorships, and the purchase of tickets to the dinner. We are also very pleased to announce that Past RI Vice President Jennifer Jones, and Current RI Vice President Dean Rohrs will be the guest speakers at this event. There will be much more on this event in the coming weeks.
Pennsville get 4 new members
I had the opportunity to make a club visit to Pennsville last week. I was very happy to hear that they are growing membership, and have four new members joining. I asked how they were able to attract four new members. I was told that they are telling prospective members about all the things they do as Rotary Club. I am very happy for them and recommend that all clubs tell prospective their club story. No one is going to tell your club story better than you!
