Dear Fellow Rotarian,

 

We are happy to announce the launch of the District's on-line registration for District Conference 2011.  You're now able to submit you and your guest's personal information and make a safe and secure credit card payment directly from the web page.  Please take a moment to check out the following.

 

Top 10 Reasons to Attend this Years Conference;

 

  1. This years Conference is in District
  2. We offer and improved price point. 
    1. A two person full Conference with room is $395
    2. A single person full Conference with room is $275
  3. You'll require a shorter time commitment with the new two day Conference.
  4. We are offering a commuter friendly Conference since we're in District.
    1. A per person full Conference commuter rate is $185.
  5. The President of Rotary International, Ray Klinginsmith, will attend the Conference for Sundays Celebration Luncheon.  Full conference attendees will be provided priority status for seating at this prestigious offering.
  6. Connie Sparks will attend the Conference as the RI representative.  Connie has many humanitarian trips to share with us.
  7. Governors Gala is planned as a Masquerade with awards for best costume.
  8. Entertainment will follow the Gala with a New Orleans style Jazz-Blues live music on the "District Bourbon Street".
  9. Along with the entertainment we will have a "District Bourbon Street" offering complimentary libations instead of the hospitality room setup. (until the fund is depleted-then we'll offer a cash bar)
  10. A "Can-do car roll off" is planned for Saturday afternoon and will be a pinewood derby styled race.  All Clubs are asked to participate with their own car to race.  Details of the event will be posted on the web site and emailed in the near future. 

 

Planning for our Breakout Sessions includes;

1.      Club Projects

a.       Vineland has a Nigerian Water Well program.

b.      Williamstown has a program on Senior Feeding.

c.       Cherry Hill has a program that will be hands on in planning and seeding an organic green house.

d.      White Horse will have the Hope Mobile on site which is a Mobile Food Pantry that has classroom space on board helping people plan meals.

2.      Non-Rotarian (aka partners program) breakout sessions

a.       How to produce your own video on you-tube.

b.      A health fair.

c.       Beginner's yoga.

d.      A wine tasting.

e.       Chefs table.

 

Plus we will have the popular Youth Exchange and GSE team programs.
